What is BLISS?

BLISS is our acronym for the Biggest Little Iconic Summer Stompdown, Northern Nevada’s largest line dance event debuting August 14th-17th, 2025.

Where is BLISS being held?

BLISS will be held at the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Reno, Nevada.

Getting to BLISS will be a breeze! If you fly into the Reno/Tahoe International Airport (RNO), you’ll be a short, 5-minute drive from the Grand Sierra Resort (GSR). GSR also offers free shuttle services to and from the airport running every 15 minutes (see our Hotel & Accommodations page for more information).

Full House or Royal Flush?

What’s the difference between these ticket passes?

The Royal Flush pass has all of the same benefits as the Full House pass, but also includes some bonus BLISS swag and perks, including a T-shirt, commemorative poker chip, and priority access for registration pick-up.

The Full House pass is an all-inclusive event package that will give you access to all workshops and evening open dancing, Thursday-Sunday!

Can I come just for open dancing (without attending workshops)?

Yes! Check out our Evening Dance Passes and choose the night(s) you want to join us. Perfect for those who just want to come dance the night away!

The GSR is host to over a dozen restaurants to satisfy all your food and beverage needs, so you can enjoy a fabulous meal at any time. A concession stand will also be available inside the event that will have numerous food and drink options throughout each day.

Will food/dinner be available?

Yes! We will have a myriad of vendors at the event for dance shoes and clothing, and also providing services such as massages, and more!

If you’re interested in becoming a vendor at BLISS, please check out our Vendors page, or contact us directly.

Will there be vendors on-site?

BLISS will host a qualifying competition for the USLDCC 2025-2026 season, alongside our own in-house choreography competition to earn a teaching spot on our team for 2026. Check out our Competitions page for more information!

Competition passes will become available as we get closer to the event.

Please note: A Royal Flush or Full House pass will be required to take part in the competitions.

Will there be any competitions?

Will there be a Saturday night all-star show and dinner?

For this first year, there will not be a show nor a dinner. However, Saturday night, we will instead have a cocktail party with cash bars and raffle drawings. Mingle with the other BLISS guests and instructors while enjoying a lovely beverage. For each drink you purchase, you will earn a raffle ticket! Raffle prize winners will be announced towards the end of the Cocktail Party.

For each drink you purchase during the Saturday night Cocktail Party, you will earn a raffle ticket! In addition, you can earn raffle tickets for purchasing BLISS merchandise, sponsoring BLISS, or purchasing BLISS 2026 tickets.

Prizes include various dance-related and sponsored items, products/services, and ticket passes to other dance events. In fact, we already have our first prize secured for the raffle drawing: A weekend pass to New England Line Dance Showstopper (NELDS) for 2025! Thank you, Steve and Jill!

How do we earn raffle tickets?

And what kinds of prizes will be included in the raffle drawing?

Will there be theme nights?

Yes! We will make an announcement once we finalize our theme nights, so stay tuned!

How can I become a sponsor for BLISS?

We are so grateful that you are interested in sponsoring BLISS and supporting the line dance community. Please check out our Sponsors page for more information on sponsorship tiers and benefits, or contact us directly.

What dance levels will be taught at BLISS?

All dance levels from Absolute Beginner to Advanced will be taught at BLISS. This means there is something for everyone to learn, no matter their level! We will also have a dedicated beginner room. We want all dancers to feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to participate.
